Spooky Scraps

I can always find a great set of scraps 

from my prior projects and 

it' s so fun to incorporate them 

into a cute scrap page.

This page is no different!  Using some great 

Halloween papers and

the Basic Black, Sunset, Thistle 

and Slate Cardstocks from Close To My Heart

this page took on some Spooky fun!

Hopping By....

This sweet little guy is hopping by

to bring you some Easter cheer.

Spring is filled with fun and the Skylark Paper Packet

from Close To My Heart is no exception.

This flip side of one sheet of the Skylark design paper

created the precious window to house the cute bunny here.

The stamped image (from a retired 

Stamp of the Month Sensational Season)

was stamped in Timber Brown Staz-On

and then colored in using the Blender Pen

and CTMH Exclusive inks in 

the colors: Lagoon & Desert Sand.

A hint of Blush Ink was then added 

to the ears and nose, while the grass 

effect was created with Sweet Leaf and 

a sponge swept in an upward motion

to create the blades of grass look.

Happy Easter was stamped from a stamp 

I had laying around from last year

and Lagoon ink was used for the color 

of the stamped image and the distressed look

created on the edge of the image mat.

I'm in love with all the 

Cricut Artiste (#1790) cuts 

and this cute

foundation piece for the 

"Happy Easter"sentiment 

was cut from that cartridge.

The window layer was raised on adhesive dots

and a double bow of coordinating twine finished

this sweet card with just the 

added embellishment needed.

Bunny Treats

Sweet Bunny Treats are always fun 

during Spring and Easter season and this year

is no different for our little ones.

This year, I created these sweet Bunny treats

with the Close To My Heart Artiste Cartridge (Z1790).

Using the Sky Cardstock (X4761), I set the Artiste to cut

the Bunny Box at 9" on my Cricut   - - - 

Then using the Artiste Cartridge (Z1790) 

and Sweet Leaf cardstock (X5639),

 set the grass on the Accent 3 button with Shift Key 

to cut at 1" - cutting two pieces for each box.

Once the Bunny Box is cut, and while flat, 

place a sticky note at the base of the bunny

(this will shield the box while allowing you to color bunny)

and use a sponge (Z697)  inked with Cocoa Ink (Z2114)

to color each bunny fully.

Create an eye and cottontail for your bunny

using a white gel pen.

Put the treat box together using 

the instructions on page 54 

of the assembly book.

Once together, cut grass to fit each

side of box and adhere using Liquid Glass (Z679).

journal for a precious friend of mine and
